MCHD welcomes Dr. Christine Seals, a devoted healthcare leader who has served as the community's hospice medical director for several years. Since September, she's also supported Heppner's rural health clinics, supporting quality initiatives. Dr. Seals is a board-certified family medicine physician practicing in Rural Oregon for over 20 years.   She brings extensive administrative expertise from her leadership roles at Umpqua Health Alliance (UHA), Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI), and Denver Health Medical Plan (DHMP). Dr. Seals combines her clinical expertise with a heartfelt dedication to ensuring that "whole-person care is the norm rather than the exception."

She is driven to ensure equitable and integrated care for all patients, particularly in rural communities, where her passion shines brightest. Passionate about rural healthcare, Dr. Seals is motivated to ensure that small communities receive equitable and integrated care. Now, she looks forward to being more present in Heppner, providing patient care and fostering health transformation.
