Emergency Medical Services in Morrow County

August 23, 2024- MCHD is pleased to announce that we have signed a service contract with Morrow County to serve as the ambulance provider for the Northeast and Southern ASA’s.  

Morrow County Health District is proud to have been the ambulance service provider countywide for the past 30 years. Our EMS personnel have provided exceptional service and we’re deeply grateful to them. We’re also grateful to all of the community members that have spoken in support of our ambulance service over the past three years.

To all of our first responders past and present, thank you for your service. Your contribution to our communities can never be forgotten.

 

Morrow County Health District FireMed

Beginning January 1, 2026, Morrow County Health District will transition from Tri-County Ambulance Association to Life Flight Network/Firemed for our emergency ambulance membership program.

Membership offers peace of mind for unexpected emergency transport expenses. Benefits cover you, your spouse or domestic partner, and any family members living at the same residence who are age 24 years old or younger, legally disabled, or age 65 years old or older. If transported, we simply bill your insurance. There are no deductibles and no extra co-pays.

Your FireMed Basic Membership covers you and your household in over 64,500 square miles of Oregon. Your FireMed Plus Membership includes all FireMed Basic services as well as air medical transport coverage in over 200,000 square miles of Life Flight Network’s service area throughout the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West.

Ground Ambulance Service- $65/Year for family membership

• Emergency prehospital, medical treatment, and ground transportation
• Non-emergent, medically necessary ambulance service preauthorized by a physician
• Emergency rescue
• Emergency ambulance transportation between local medical facilities
• Automatic insurance billing service

FireMed Coverage Map 

Morrow County Health District FireMed Plus Plan:

Ground + Emergency Air Ambulance- $140/Year for family membership

• FireMed Basic services plus Life Flight Network emergency air medical transport
• No out-of-pocket expenses for emergent medically necessary flights if flown by Life Flight Network or one of our air medical transport partners, subject to reciprocating program’s membership rules
• Coverage from Life Flight Network aircraft located throughout Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Hawai’i
