Jamie Houck

Jamie Houck graduated from Emporia State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Business in 2002 and then earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2012. Her healthcare career started in 2012 and has spanned across rural Kansas, Wyoming and Oregon communities.
Throughout Jamie’s career she has worked in Accounting, Human Resources, Emergency Medical Services, Clinic Nursing, School Nursing, and as an RN and leader in Critical Access Hospitals in Kansas and Oregon.
In 2018, she joined the Health District, where she worked as a Hospital RN, CNO, Clinical Informaticist, Director of Clinical Informatics, and, most recently, our Inpatient Services Director. When asked why she is passionate about rural healthcare, she says, "Growing up and raising my family in many small, remote towns, I understand it is essential to provide healthcare services that might otherwise be inaccessible to those who live and work in rural communities."
