Laura Torres is the Director of Workforce Innovation Programs for a nationally recognized nonprofit organization serving Military Families. In this role, she leads career initiatives, supports military-connected members, and drives program growth.

Recently elected to the Morrow County Health District's Board of Directors, Laura leverages her extensive experience in community outreach, workforce development, and strategic planning to support local health and wellness initiatives. Previously, she worked with Morrow County Public Health, engaging local families through the Healthy Start home visitation program.

With a strong background in recruiting, workforce training, program outreach, and networking, Laura holds a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Oregon University and an MBA from National University.

As a Military Caregiver to her Marine Corps Veteran spouse, Laura is passionate about advocating for veterans, military families, and public health awareness to reach diverse populations. In her free time, she volunteers with Service Veteran Organizations (SVOs) and supports local civilian initiatives.
