Stephen and his family are long- time residents of Morrow County. After graduating from Heppner High School, he lived in Long Creek, Ukiah, Elgin, and Umatilla before settling in Irrigon over twenty years ago. He has had a long career in the logging and construction industry and is an avid fisherman.

Public service has always been a calling to Stephen- serving on planning commissions, budget committees, Kiwanis, volunteering with Little League services, Northeast Oregon Resource Allocation Committee (USDA), and now Morrow County Health District. Stephen said, “As an MCHD Board member, I hope to inform residents of facts, diffuse rumors, and unite our county.”
